The dream would be to post an instax shot up here everyday that has been taken on that day. If I don't manage to take a picture on that day then an instant taken in the past will be posted. This will be accompanied by some sort of description as to why I found the subject of the image interesting or a little background story. The idea is that this will encourage me to capture something of interest once a day and this blog will provide a place to document this.

#35 - the DJ is from Middlesbrough... "oh, that's a shame"
Yesterday I returned home to Newcastle from York. I stayed over there on Friday night and wore my Kigu to a clubnight.
I slept on a sofa, the other Kigu slept face down on the floor wrapped in a rug. Legend.
As I was cleaning up someone in the house passed judgement on Middlesbrough, turns out he has never even visited there. Enough said really. No worries though as he seemed like a nice guy.
This picture is from the top window of the house, the window of a really tiny bedroom. You can see York Minster in the distance which is a beautiful building which you should visit if you ever can.
Tomorrow comes the other instant I took in York, which is pretty amazing.

#34 - Sicky
Last night a bunch of lovely people came round to partake in some pumpkin carving. Everyone put loads of effort in and good times were had!

#33 - Tynemouth Adventure (pt. 5)
That's the last of the Tynemouth Aventure. Tynemouth is a lovely place though, so probably more pictures from there in the future.
There is some sort of surf championship there today. Also there was a Surf film festival on there. I didn't find out about it until after it was on but some of the films sounded interesting... http://www.tynemouthsurffilmfest.com/.
Surfing is big in Tynemouth.

#31 - Tynemouth Adventure (pt. 3)
I'm sure one of those black spots is some sort of bird, would be nice to think so.
Imagine sitting up there late on a winters night..

#30 - Tynemouth Adventure (pt. 2)
This castle/ruins is closed on weekends in the winter months, a nosy round wasn't possible. However I nearly got a picture of a car driving out of the castle, too slow!
I decided to take a shot from where I was allowed to... (the other side of the fence). It turned out pretty awesome anyway. Screw you security.

#29 - Tynemouth Adventure (pt. 1)
For those who don't know of Tynemouth.
Saturday brought about a trip to Tynemouth which was bloody lovely.
I took lots of snaps which are going to be posted one by one. The sky was having an interesting day.
This place in todays photo is where lanterns were set off for a certain Mr Marshall's birthday, a few weeks back.

#28 - Jesus
Last weekend I went to visit Bobby G in Liverpool to celebrate his 21st birthday. Loads of boros went down. Rob got a pipe for his birthday. It was a bloody class night.
I slept on a floor for a while then a sofa for a few hours. I woke up to Callum calling my name in the creepiest way possible. Words cannot describe it.
The next day we went for breakfast. I took this picture of the amazing cathedral that we were near. I haven't been able to decide whether I liked it or not for the past week.
I've decided that I like the silhouette effect and if you want to see the detail of the cathedral. Go to Liverpool!

#27 - Bacon and Cheese
Last night a very good friend of mine from college hosted a dinner party. Emily was kind enough to invite me and my other very good friend Pip.
Emilys cooking was spot on and there was even a chocolate fountain for dessert. We met loads of lovely people, including Emily's two Italian cousins who were hassling me all night to go out and get drunk. One day I will make party for them. I still managed to sleep through my alarm so it probably wouldn't have made much difference.
Pip was introduced alot as 'the jumper man'. His company sells class jumpers. Two very exciting opportunities for arose from people he met. Check out his page on facebook.

the blog wasn't his idea
Yesterday I posted an instant that my flatmate Callum kindly took on his day trip to Scotland.
One thing I forgot to mention is that he has his own blog. It's been pretty class so far. It's about what he is spending his student loan on, and the blog definately wasn't his idea.

#26 - Scotland
I wrote earlier that today my flatmate Callum had his hands on my camera. I didn't know where he was going or what he was going to take a picture of. Another excitement factor.
Turns out he drove to Scotland with my other flatmate Rob. An amazing picture was brought back!
Callum McGlade
This is my flatmate Callum McGlade. Today’s instant is going to be brought to you by him. You should be very excited. See you tonight hopefully with some sort of delight!

#25 - Saltburn pier
When first taken I thought this photo was going to be a write off due to lack of light. But I quite like how the pier fades into darkness.
